Who I Am
My name is Rakas, founder of RakasBets.
Basketball has been my passion for over two decades. During this time I have analysed thousands of games, published thousands of betting picks and built a long-term betting model based on statistics, market behaviour and disciplined bankroll management.
Alongside running RakasBets, I spent many years working at bet365, where I deepened my insight into betting markets, odds movements and much more. That experience helped shape the analytical approach I use today.
RakasBets was founded in 2006 with one simple goal – to provide transparent, long-term profitable basketball betting analysis.
What started as a small personal website gradually grew into a community of dedicated basketball bettors who valued honesty, consistency and profitable results. The service quickly evolved into a premium VIP membership with a growing community of long-term members. I later spent several years working for bet365, one of the world's largest sportsbooks, gaining valuable experience in professional betting operations before bringing that knowledge back to RakasBets.
