2026/27 EuroLeague Preview – Teams, Rosters, Predictions & Betting Analysis

Here are some of my thoughts in remaining games:

🇹🇷 Efes - 🇪🇸 Real Madrid
Looks like a no-bet game for me.
Real Madrid have a great squad and a great coach, but they are still getting used to each other after several changes to the team during the summer. Yes, they won the Super Cup, but then lost their opening game in Dubai and had big defensive problems against Unicaja just two days ago.
Efes are another completely new-look team with Mike James leading the way. Their loss against Barcelona was a little surprising, but they showed their full potential on Sunday, beating Beşiktaş comfortably.
Should be a great game to watch, but for now I'm skipping the pregame selections.

🇹🇷 Fenerbahçe - 🇩🇪 Bayern
One more game where I would rather stay away.
Fener were terrible against Virtus and even worse on Sunday, losing to Bahçeşehir 83-98. Their current form is obviously poor, despite not making too many changes and keeping most of last season's core.
Bayern are the complete opposite. A team that looked like potential last-place contenders before the season have already beaten Hapoel and destroyed Bamberg and ALBA by 30+ points in Germany.
A total coin flip for me, despite everyone knowing who is better on paper.

🇮🇹 Milano - 🇮🇹 Virtus
Milano already beat Virtus 80-71 just 10 days ago, but then managed to lose badly to Partizan.
Virtus, meanwhile, looked good against Fener and demolished Varese in their own arena on Sunday.
I have to admit I still have some doubts about this Virtus team this season, but for now I need to get a clearer picture of how they actually play before forming a stronger opinion based on what we've seen so far.
No bet for now.

🇪🇸 Valencia - 🇪🇸 Baskonia
🔥 Points party coming to town.
Valencia changed a lot, both with the coach and the players, but it looks like Pedro Martínez's style has remained.
They are playing extremely fast basketball with a huge number of possessions, and now they face what I consider the worst defensive team in the league.
Mirotić, Shorts, Taylor, Brooks, Reuvers — plenty of offensive firepower against a team that can struggle defensively.
-8.5 and 183.5 look about right here. Bookmakers opened the total at 179.5, and the public has already pushed it to a crazy 183.5.
I'm not going to jump on such a high total, even though this should be an extremely fast-paced game.

🇫🇷 Paris - 🇷🇸 Partizan
Partizan continue to look great after an impressive end to last season, while I've already shared my opinion about Paris being one of the weaker teams in the competition this year.
Paris are set at -2.5, and I can't take Partizan away from home either.
173.5 looks interesting for an Over considering how Paris play, but at the same time I have doubts about Paris performing at the highest offensive level despite the huge number of possessions just for now.
Skipping this one for now.
