EUROPE — 24 GAMES
Group I
One of the most balanced groups of the Window. Almost every team has a realistic chance.
Ukraine will have Mykhailiuk
Portugal will have Queta
Greece looks strong with Dorsey, Mitoglou & the company
Georgia has an absolutely loaded frontcourt with Mamu, Bitadze & Shengelia
And Montenegro become dangerous as always with Yogi Ferrell
👉 This is exactly the type of group where team news, rotations and motivation can create value in the market.
Group J
Much less competitive.
Serbia arrive with Jokic, Jovic, Guduric & the company, while Turkey will also have their main players available, together with Michael Flynn.
Italy also looks like one of their strongest versions, while Lithuania are very poor, heavily dependent on one higher class player Tubelis.
📌 For me, this looks like 3 clear leaders + 3 teams realistically having no chance.
That could create some very interesting motivation-based spots.
Group K
Poland currently sit 6-0, but I don't think the standings tell the whole story here.
Germany and Croatia are on another level when looking at the available talent, and both should be expected to dominate their opponents during this Window.
👉 Another group where the quality gap looks much bigger than the table suggests.
Group L
An open group - but France are arriving with what looks close to a dream team. 🔥
Slovenia and Sweden could be in for a very difficult Window.
Finland will have Lauri Markkanen, which should make them considerably stronger.
The fight for the remaining qualifying positions could be very interesting.
🌏 ASIA — 12 GAMES
Group E
A very interesting situation.
Jordan currently sit 3rd at 5-1, but their recent Jones Cup results showed a completely different level without Jalen Harris going 2-5 against low level teams.
Philippines are already out of the race but still have Kai Sotto, while Australia are already qualified at 6-0 and therefore will not need their strongest possible version.
👉 Motivation + lineups could be everything here.
Group F
Much more competitive with several teams still theoretically alive.
Japan look strong with their main stars, Lebanon should improve with DJ Funderburk, especially under the basket, while Korea and Qatar should also have something to offer.
🔥 This group could provide some of the more interesting betting opportunities in Asia.
🌎 AMERICAS — 12 GAMES
This is probably the least attractive region for me, as has often been the case during FIBA Windows.
Mike James will be available for USA.
Gabriel Deck will play for Argentina.
But overall, the rosters are filled with lower-level players compared to Europe.
Group F already looks relatively decided with Canada, Uruguay and Argentina having much better records.
Group E is more interesting with several teams still fighting for 3rd place.
📌 We'll see what the bookmakers give us, but I expect fewer picks from the Americas than from the other regions.
And that's important:
❌ We don't need to bet every game.
✅ We need to bet the right games.
🌍🔥 AFRICA — 18 GAMES
This could be one of the most interesting regions of the entire Window.
Two groups of 6 teams, with only the top 2 advancing directly and the best 3rd-place team also qualifying.
Senegal — 5-1 → Badio
Cameroon — 5-1 → Yves Missi
Ivory Coast — 5-1 → Assemian Moulare
Mali — 5-1 → Siriman Kanoute
Guinea — 4-2 → Shannon Evans
Sudan — 4-2 → Wenyen Gabriel
Nigeria — 4-2 → Josh Okogie
🔥 18 games with qualification on the line.
This should create plenty of interesting spots, especially when motivation, imported players and market expectations don't fully match.
💰 WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR RAKASBETS?
This is exactly the kind of FIBA Window where I expect a lot more opportunities than we've had recently.
But we're not going to force bets just because there are 78 games on the schedule.
We'll be looking for:
🎯 Wrong lines
📊 Motivation differences
🔥 Key players returning
⚠️ Teams resting players
📈 Live betting opportunities
💰 Value that the market hasn't fully priced in
And most importantly — we'll wait for the information when necessary.
The goal isn't to have the most picks.
The goal is to have the best picks. 🧠🏀
